Frequently asked questions about company search

How do I find a company by its registration number?

Enter the seven-digit registration number (EMBS) in the search box and press Search. If the company exists in the Central Registry of the Republic of North Macedonia we show its registration data, tax ID, legal form, registered address and the financial statements it has filed.

Can I search by company name?

Yes. Two characters of the registered name are enough. The search returns every matching company together with its registration number, legal form and registered address, so you can pick the right one.

Does company search cost anything?

No. Search and the basic registration data are free and need no account. Only the full profiles with financial history for every period, change monitoring and API access are paid.

Where does the data come from?

From official public sources in North Macedonia. The register is still being populated, so we show no company profiles yet — when we do, every figure will carry its source.

Why do some companies have no financial history?

Financial history is built from filed statements. A company that has never filed one — typically a sole trader or a newly founded company — has registration data but no financial periods.

How often is the data updated?

Registration data is read from the state registers on every search, so it is current at that moment. Financial statements appear as companies file them and the register publishes them.
